All classes are taught by Carolyn Wettlaufer, AMus (Piano), BMus, MA. Carolyn brings to her work her extensive background as a church musician, pianist, and piano teacher specializing in the instruction of young children. She studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto with Katalin Forrai, a world-renowned early childhood music specialist from Budapest, Hungary.
| Program |
Early Childhood Music 3 year olds: This preparatory class introduces the basic elements of music through active play and musical games. Small group classes meet for 50 minutes a week for 30 weeks from September to May.

| Early Childhood Music 4-7 year olds: Musical concepts of rhythm, melody, dynamics, phrasing and form are taught in small group classes through the use of singing, listening games, movement and speech rhymes, percussion and melodic instruments. Kodaly, Orff, and Dalcroze Eurhythmic techniques are combined to develop rhythmic and melodic skills to form a foundation to future music study and enjoyment. Children meet for 50 minutes a week for 30 weeks from September to May. |

| Fees |
| A Registration Fee ($35 for returning students and $50 for new students) is due with the registration form. The Tuition Fee of $425 is payable in full by postdated cheque, dated September 19, 2007. Registration is complete when both cheques have been received. Because of the high demand for these classes, the Tuition Fee is a non-refundable amount. Register now! Classes fill up quickly. |
