Campers will learn new or reinforce existing basic musical skills (rhythm basic note reading) while improving listening, timing, coordination through the use of Orff instruments, African drums and other handheld percussion. Campers will experiment with "Body Percussion" and participate in a "Stomp" style activity. Each camper will have the opportunity to play both as a soloist and as part of an ensemble. They will also be able to try some improvisation and work on their own compositions.
