Shannon Walker

            Shannon Walker holds her Honours Bachelor of Music for piano from Wilfrid Laurier University.  While attending WLU she completed two specialized courses in piano pedagogy, one taught by Terry Kroetsch through the university, the second was developed and taughted by Valery Lloyd-Watts and Carole Bigelor through the Suzuki Kingston Musicfest.  Shannon has also attended many master classes with pianists:  Leslie De'Ath, Beth Ann De Sousa, Joseph Ferretti, Angela Hewitt, Terry Kroetsch, Elaine Lau, Valery Lloyd-Watts, Boyd McDonald, Heather Taves

            Shannon has been teaching piano and theory all around Ontario for the past 5 years.  She teaches a wide range of piano students from beginners to advanced, both children and adults with various musical backgrounds.  Many of her students have completed Royal Conservatory Exams for various grades in both piano and theory with excellent results.  She encourages her students to perform in local festivals and recitals.
