Peter de Sousa

Peter de Sousa is in demand as a piano teacher, an adjudicator, accompanist, arranger and music director for music theatre.  His is a  founding member of the Beckett School of Music and a former instructor at Wilfrid Laurier University, from which he earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance.   No stranger to the theatre, his music direction credits include Man of La Mancha, The Paisely Sisters  (Waterloo Stage Theatre), Nunsense II (Cambridge Theatre),  Cotton Patch Gospel, (with Lost and Found Theatre), Discovering Elvis, (Victoria Playhouse Petrolia) and most recently Godspell at Forest Hill United Church in Waterloo at which he is Director of Music. Together with Andre Clouthier, Peter has put founded the twelve piece cover band, Stealing Dan playing of course their favorite Steely Dan tunes.
