Nancy Borusiewich
Violinist and Teacher Nancy Borusiewich, (MusBac/Perf, University of Toronto) has been teaching at the Beckett School since. Nancy has performed with her husband (K-W Symphony Assistant Principal Cellist, Tony Christie) in their group The Kreisler Ensemble and as a contracted member of the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony for over ten years. Nancy resigned her KWS position in 2003 in order to devote more of her time and energies to her young son Misha, and to teaching. In great demand as a freelance violinist (K-W Symphony, Hamilton Philharmonic, Stratford Festival, Elora Festiva, Festival of the Sound, Toronto Mendelssohn Choir Orchestra, Mississauga Philharmonic, and many others), and as a member of the Bender-Borusiewich-Treimanis Trio, Nancy is one of the busiest musicians in the area, but always makes time for her many Beckett School students who, along with Misha, are her pride and joy.
