Early Childhood Music

All courses are written, developed and taught by Carolyn Wettlaufer.
3 - 7 Year Olds Early Childhood Music
(Children are grouped in classes according to their ages.)
Musical concepts of rhythm, melody, dynamics, phrasing and form are taught in small group classes through the use of singing and listening games, movement and speech rhymes, percussion and melodic instruments. Orff, Kodaly and Dalcroze Eurhythmic techniques are combined to develop rhythmic and melodic skills to form a foundation for future music study and enjoyment.
Children meet for 50 minutes a week for 30 weeks from September to May.
3 year olds: Tuesday 2:00 pm or Tuesday 4:40 pm, classes begin September 22, 2009
4year olds: Tuesday 3:40 and 5:40 pm, Wednesday 5:00 pm, classes begin September 22, 2009
5 year olds: Wed. 4:00 pm, Thursday 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm, classes begin September 23, 2009
6 & 7 year olds: Wednesday 6:00 pm, Thursday 6:00 pm., classes begin September 23, 2009
