The intention of Beckettfest is to give all students a chance to experience a festival similar to the KW Kiwanis Music Festival without the pressure of marks or first, second, and third placements. Very highly qualified adjudicators give students equal doses of praise and constructive criticism to help them further their musical skills. For students looking ahead to KW Kiwanis competitive festival, this is a terrific midway step from playing in recitals to preparing for competitions. Ask your teacher for details.
